Understanding the Early Payment Option (EPO)

EPO gives an eligible customer the option to pay early the remaining Specified Amount under a Clearco Agreement before the end of its estimated term by delivering an early payment calculated by Clearco.

Is EPO available on my advance?

EPO is only available where your Clearco Agreement was entered into on or after October 5, 2026 and you have received a letter from Clearco stating that the applicable Clearco Agreement is eligible for the EPO (an "EPO Eligible Letter"). You'll find it with your agreement documents.

Additional eligibility criteria apply, as set out in the EPO Terms.

How do I request EPO?

Send an email to Clearco Payments at payments@clear.co, copying your Clearco representative, at least three (3) business days before the date on which you intend to exercise the EPO. The email must:

  • Request EPO

  • Specify the requested EPO exercise date

  • Attach the applicable EPO Eligible Letter

A general request to "pay in full early," "pay off" an advance, or make an early payment will not constitute an EPO request.

What happens next?

Clearco will then confirm EPO eligibility. If eligible, Clearco will send you an EPO Pay Letter confirming the EPO amount as of your requested EPO exercise date and the steps required to deliver that amount.

An EPO amount is calculated as of a specific payment date, and may change if the payment date changes or if additional activity occurs on your account before payment. An EPO Pay Letter will expire after the date specified in it.

For full details, see our EPO Terms and Conditions. If anything here differs from the EPO Terms, the EPO Terms govern.
